New Jersey 1988
A very successful tour and the first of two across the 'pond'. On arrival at Trenton, New Jersey, the YWO was greeted by a piper as they stepped off the coach. A beautiful welcome at 1am and a sample of the heartwarming hospitality with which the people of Trenton YMCA embraced the YWO Glasgow throughout the tour.
Concerts were held in Trenton, Philadelphia, Washington and New York and band members also enjoyed many visits to famous places, among which was 'The Blue Note Jazz Club' in New York.
